The Origami Bottle is made of using a premium plant-based polymer produced by Envalior, a Dutch Company formerly known as DSM.
This polymer is food-safe, BPA/BPS free, and does not contain any leads or toxins that can leak even when filled with hot water.
Bio-based: the material is made from sustainably sourced rapeseed, with 43% of the material being bio-based and 57% petrol-based. The bio component is expected to increase in the future.
Durable: can resists 100.000 folds, without any damage to the folding creases. We offer 180-day Warranty for any manufacturing defects.
Recyclable: it is closed-loop recyclable, meaning it can be recycled without losing its properties. The category of this polymer is TPC, TPE-E, No. 7.

Neck and cap: made of stainless steel.
Gaskets: made of food-grade silicone.
The Origami Bottle can resist 100.000 folds and years of use. To maximize its lifespan, we recommend regular washing and handling it with care, including avoiding drops.
Warranty:
We offer a 180-day warranty against any manufacturing defects, ensuring peace of mind. If any defects are present, they appear within first months, and we’re committed to resolving any issue to ensure no customer is left disappointed.
- Smooth interior: The folding creases are on the outside, while the inside surface is smooth and glossy for more effective washing.
- Manual Cleaning Recommendation: for best results and to extend its lifespan, we recommend cleaning with a bottle brush.
- The bottle is also dishwasher-safe.
All parts, including the internal silicone gasket in the cap and the outer silicone ring, can be removed and cleaned individually.
Dishwasher Tips (if preferred): 1/ Use a gentle cycle with temperatures up to 65°C (149°F).
2/ Opt for fragrance-free detergents to avoid any residual odors.
3/ Ensure the bottle is placed securely so nothing presses against it, preventing unwanted deformations.
The Origami Bottle is designed specifically for water. While it’s possible to use it for other beverages like coffee or tea, we don’t recommend it, as these drinks might leave stains or odors over time.
Important: Avoid using the bottle for carbonated water. Carbonation creates high pressure, which inflates the bottle and can potentially burst. For safety and durability, please stick to non-carbonated beverages.
The Origami Bottle is safe for hot and cold water but it’s not isothermal and its surface gets hot.
If you use it for hot water we recommend that you do not touch the hot surface to avoid burns. Use the cap ring instead.
